I want to help you to eat your way to a better, healthier and cancer free version of you!
You have come to Cancer Diet for a very specific reason, because you want to find out how you can eat your way to a healthier and possibly cancer free lifestyle. You have definitely come to the right place, I have made it my life mission to teach and help normal every day people just like you how to eat their way to a healthier happier and potentially cancer free life.
Let me start off here by sharing a few interesting facts with you that could shock you. I know they shocked me when I first learned them, and these very facts that I am about to share with you, is what caused me to start digging so deep into this world where cancer meets what we put into our bodies in the form of food and drink!
Fact #1 – there is a clear connection between diet and cancer
Almost any doctor will tell you that there is a correlation between what you eat and your chances for getting cancer, everyone knows there is a link. I, however, believe there is more than just a link correlating a small percentage of risk. I believe that what we take into our bodies has a very strong link to whether or not we will develop cancer in our lifetime, and I also firmly believe that most people, by diet and good habits alone can live a very long and cancer free life.
I believe that this connection between cancer and diet is so strong that it simply is impossible to ignore. However the key here is that the correlation is NOT a one size fits all type scenario. Instead each of our bodies is unique and has a very unique metabolism, and this is where much of the confusion comes in when correlating diet and cancer, as each of us processes the food and drink we consume in different ways. That’s why some people can smoke for 50 years and be healthy as ever and some of us will die of second hand smoke after just a short time of exposure.
Fact #2 – Cancer is a big business

According to American National Cancer Institute, in 2017 in the US alone $147.3 billion was spent on cancer treatment. I don’t want to sound cynical, but cancer is a business, and a very big business at that. There is an an entire industry focusing on very expensive treatments of cancer. At approximately $150 billion dollars per year, this industry has not motive to help people be cancer free, because cancer patients are cancer clients, and clients are good for business.
I take a very contrarian approach to the establishment. That does not mean I am here to bash doctors or big pharma, not at all, I am simply here to tell you that I believe if you focus on a healthy lifestyle, you can prevent much of this in the first place.
NOTE: I firmly believe that the media does not give enough coverage to just how important diet is when it comes to cancer, and this is one of my main reasons of launching Cancer Diet! I want to help bring to light what much of mainstream media chooses to ignore – the direct connection between diet and cancer.
Fact #3 – 1 in 6 deaths globally is due to cancer

According to The World Health Organization, 1 in 6 deaths globally is due to cancer. This is a staggering number, and I believe that with a good understanding of what we are putting into our bodies and how our cells actually function, we stand a very good chance of lowering this number drastically. However this is a huge undertaking, I cannot do this alone, I need your help to spread the word.
No ads. No up-sells. Just free information that I honestly believe in my heart and soul can change your body for the better from the inside out!
If you notice there are no annoying ads here, I will try to keep this site ad free as long as I can afford to do so. I simply want to share what I have learned with the world and slowly but surely possibly make the world a better place and healthier place one meal at a time.

What exactly is the Cancer Diet?
Let me start off by saying what the Cancer Diet is NOT. The Cancer Diet is NOT a business. As it stands, I don’t even have a plan to monetize this website. I don’t care to make money from this right now. I only care about helping people achieve what I believe is possible for most people through diet alone – staying cancer free.
NOTE: The opinions here on Cancer Diet are strictly my own. I also disclose to you that I am NOT a doctor, and nothing that you read here should be taken as medical advise. I feel only fair disclosing this to you on the home page not with some fine print which resides only at the bottom of the page which is hidden in a bunch of mumbo jumbo 🙂
About me (if you want to know about my credentials)

Helping people eat their way to a healthy and long life is my only goal, and sharing what I have learned the last 8 years is exactly how I plan to do to achieve this.
Keep reading and join me on my mission to help people eat their way to a healthier and cancer free life!
The Cancer Diet
As the name implies, the Cancer Diet is a set of protocols that aim to prevent cancer for otherwise healthy individuals as well as helping those who already have cancer to supplement their treatment regiments with healthy eating.
Cancer treatment then can be broken down into many subcategories based on disease type, progression and treatment the patient is undergoing.
Basically the idea is as follows, whether your are trying to prevent cancer, foods are going to fall into 2 categories; Should eat and should not eat. Below find a very basic list of foods to eat and not to eat for the Cancer Diet.
Foods to eat on the Cancer Diet

- Fatty Fish – Fatty fish has been known to have strong cancer fighting properties. Fatty fish is heavy polyunsaturated fatty acids such as omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids. In fact studies show that just a single 3 ounce portion of fatty fish such as salmon could help women reduce the possibility of kidney cancer by 44%, or men who eat fatty fish 1 time per week have shown a much higher survival rate with prostate cancer.
- Carrots – These orange crispy tasty roots have strong cancer fighting properties. They are loaded with beta-carotene, which is a strong precursor to building a strong immune system. Carrots are also packed with antioxidants, Vitamin K and Vitamin A which are essential for health.
- Apples – You have heard the phrase, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away.” There is good reason for this old adage, its very true. Apples are loaded with polyphenols, which have very strong anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. Take phloretin, a particular polyphenol, plays a very significant role in combating certain advance stage tumors by inhibiting the glucose transporter, GLUT2.
- Berries – Blueberries, blackberry, raspberries and other such berries are very high in important vitamins, minerals and fiber. But on the cancer side, what interests scientist and researchers most are the strong antioxidant properties. As an example, take blackberries, they contain a particular antioxidant called anthocyanin which studies show lowers biomarkers for colon cancer.
- Walnuts – Nuts in general have shown to have strong cancer fighting properties, but walnuts in particular contain a compound called peduncalagin, which the body metabolized into urolithins. These urolithins bind to estrogen receptors and appear to play an important role in preventing breast cancer.
- Beans, Peas and Lentils – These little guys are high in fiber which is is very important for preventing cancer, especially colorectal cancer.
- Broccoli, Cauliflower and Kale – Not only do these veggies contain life supporting nutrients such as Vitamin C, Vitamin K and magnesium, they also contain some cancer fighting super stars such as sulforaphane. One particular study shows that sulforaphane can be linked to colon cancer cell death, as well as the inhibition of new cancer cell growth.
- Tomatoes – These red juicy fruits (yes they are fruits not vegetables), contain a compound called lycopene, which has shown to protect against oral cancer, throat cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, cancer of the esophagus, prostate cancer, lung cancer and stomach cancers.
- Soy – Soy contains a unique group of compounds call phytonutrients. These phytonutrients have shown to have a direct
- Yogurts and naturally fermented dairy products –
Foods NOT to eat on the Cancer Diet

- Processed Meat – The nitrates, which are typically used to preserve processed meats produce N-nitroso chemicals have been found to damage the cells lining the bowel and this has strong links to colorectal cancer.
- Red Meat – Meat such as beef, lamb and pork contain a chemical called haem. Haem is one of the culprits for red meat which, when broken down in the digestive tract, forms N-nitroso chemicals. This cause the same problem as processed meat, just by a different process.
- Charred Meat – Cooking food at high temperature actually changes the chemical composition of the food. A substance called heterolactic animes are formed when cooking food (especially meats) at high temperatures. Heterocyclic animes are known to cause cancer. We all know that good charred BBQ tastes amazing, but be careful!
- Sugar & Refined Carbohydrates – The sugar and cancer connection has been known Dr. Warburg illustrated this in the 1930’s. The connection today is understood a bit differently. High blood sugar spikes are determined not just by the intake of sugar in our body, but how our body processes this sugar. In those who experience these sugar spikes, their bodies tend to produce a protein called insulin-like growth factors (IGFs). There is a distinct connection between IGFs and cancer growth.
- Alcohol – Our bodies metabolize ethanol into a substance called acetaldehyde. This is a toxic carcinogen which is known to damage cells at the DNA level. Metabolizing alcohol also creates reactive oxygen molecules also known as free radicals which can damage DNA, protein and lipids in a process called oxidation.
- Ultra Hot Beverages – Studies have shown that drinking hot beverages such as coffee and tea at a temperature higher than 140 degrees F, have a higher probability of developing throat cancer. There is a chronic thermal injury that is caused by the burning liquid. This burn appears to cause inflammation over the long term and this could be a precursor to cancer. The Cancer DietProcessed Meat – The nitrates, which are typically used to preserve processed meats produce N-nitroso chemicals have been found to damage the cells lining the bowel and this has strong links to colorectal cancer.

I want to help you eat your way to the best possible version of you!
My idea is simple. All of our bodies are made up of billions of cells. These billions of cells form tissues, and tissues form organs, and these organs form systems, and these systems make up this amazing organism – the human body.
When we break it down to the cellular level, our cells are just the smallest part of our body that contain our DNA. This makes them the most minute part of us that is actually us. The concept with the Cancer Diet is to feed each of our cells in a way that is conducive to making them healthy and properly nourished.
A healthy and properly nourished cell leads to a healthy properly nourished you!
Take a look around the Cancer Diet. This is a labor of love and a constant work in progress. I don’t claim to know everything, but I do want to share what I do know with the world, and I hope that my information is helpful to you.
